"La Glu / Jean Richepin et Henri Cain / Musique de Gabriel Dupont" This framed poster was originally created to promote La Glu (1909), a Breton melodrama based on the novel by Jean Richepin created and scored by Gabriel Dupont (1878-1914). The opera did not gain commercial success but produced some great promotional artwork--as exemplified here. Year: 1909 Condition: Frame has sustained light scratching.
