The Garbage Collection features three distinct vases, each inspired by discarded, single-use products, designed to highlight the issue of everyday waste. Ten percent of all sales from The Garbage Collection will be donated to support ocean waste cleanup efforts. It is recommended to lift the Milk Jug Vase by the base rather than the handle due to its weight. Each vase is individually hand-cast using custom rubber molds. Colors are integrally mixed into the concrete, ensuring that every piece is one-of-a-kind. Recycled materials are incorporated into the design, and non-terrazzo pieces are up to 30% lighter than traditional concrete. While the sealer used is food-safe, the vases are not intended for direct food contact. Natural voids may occur during casting, and some pieces may feature small pinholes.
