From local artist Johnny Carrillo comes a new series of t-shirt designs: Pop Cycle Lab, with designs inspired by the city we call home. Check back periodically for brand new designs! Project: 01, the first design from the Pop Cycle Lab: Patterns in the Storm. This striking black tee features a colorful gold design celebrating the desert monsoons. Locally screen printed on 100% cotton Gildan Softstyle tees. Unisex sizing. Johnny is a Marine Corps illustrator and Combat artist. His combat work is currently on exhibit at the National Marine Corps Museum. Johnny retired in 2012 after 21 years of service, opened a kitchen boutique in Savannah, GA and started designing for the civilian sector. In August 2016 Johnny came to Tucson on holiday and fell in love. He went home, packed everything up, and moved here 3 months later. Johnny is currently a surface designer and illustrator for a home decor manufacturer - designing gift, home and pet items. Co-owner and Art Dept of Rosie's Barkét in Oro Valley, he's also the Art Chair for the Historic Fourth Avenue Coalition.
