2PK Aftermarket Replacement: Pentair® Heater High Limit Switch

These aftermarket replacements for the two Pentair® 071017 High Limit Switches are important switches in your MiniMax® or PowerMax® pool heaters, and are used to detect when your water temperature has exceeded a safe level (150°F) and immediately opens the heat exchanger outlet when that happens. Your MiniMax® heater will indicate when it is time to replace the High Limit Switch when the SERVICE LED is displayed. It also may be time to replace your MiniMax® High Limit Switch if all 3 lights on the back of the control board are on and one or both of the switches shows an open circuit (given proper water flow through the heater).
