GRAPE ON GRAPE: Sour Grapes x Sundae Pie (Regs) ((Sour D F2 x Sundae Pie x (Grape Pie x Sundae Driver)) Sour Grapes is truly a labor of love and community. Passed down to me from some of the original growers of Sour D in Humboldt County, CA, when I was just a freshman at HSU in 2008, the male used in the Sour Grapes cross comes from a handful of seeds that were the result of a male and female from the original mystery bag of Sour D. Crossed now famous Sundae Pie, that Sour D produced some of the most interesting and vigorous plants I have ever grown. The best phenos displayed a perfect mix of that nostalgic Sour nose, and the soft undertones of grapand vanilla from the Sundae Pie. We chose an extremely vigorous male that leaned heavily to the Sour D side. On the female side, our cut of Sundae Pie is well know for is extreme grape flavor with beautiful notes of creamy vanilla, and massive (4%+) yields of bright white rosin.
