WATER | HAND WOVEN | RAG RUG WALL HANGING

WATER is hand woven by Morgan Fisher.  These rag rug tapestries are woven out scrap fabrics on a small hand-built warp.  Each rag rug wall hanging is woven with unique scrap fabrics with different colors and textures; each is unique, due to the change in fabric size, shape, color, texture. These are not refined, precisely loom-woven pieces. Each rag rug wall hanging is unique and filled with variety in fabrics. Each weaving is a piece of art to hang on a wall with its custom built hanger, either made from fabric with a dowel or made from stained, old barn wood, attached at the top for hanging support.   RAG RUG WALL HANGING-  WATER Approximately 29"H x 43"L , including frame in which it's mounted. The custom built, stained, barn wood frame on front, is approximately 3"H x 1"W. The backing is a thin strip of lath wood, screwed into front piece of barn wood, holding the rug firmly in place.
