In recent years I have been working with corresponding geometry in my thrown pieces. By corresponding geometry, I mean taking two curved or square geometric shapes and juxtaposing them against each other. In this beautiful bottle, I took a round form, flattened three sides, and shaped the top of the piece into a triangle. There is a black base glaze applied with a vermillion red inclusion glaze over the top. Very rich and wonderful little bottle. This is the same thing I do with my still life assemblies. Puzzle pots I call them.....6" H x 5" WWood fired to 2450°F, Cone 13. Shipping, packing, handling, and insurance included in price with no hassle return. See policies page for complete details.
