CLOUD // Art Mirror

❢❢ This piece is called CLOUD!  This functional piece of art is a mirror that is as much about wall decor as it is about function. Geometric shapes line the perimeter of the mirror glass in squares, rectangles, and circles on different planes. The circles are accented with Japanese paper and double as the tabs which hold the mirror glass in place. A baby blue background shows through and becomes part of the design, which begins to feel like it is moving in a pattern around the central mirror. The work of the hand is evident in the careful execution of details like the brass nails and screws or the carefully scored rectangular wood to create the painted square shapes.
