Table-Top Steam Uncapper

This steam uncapper for beehive frames sits on top of your uncapping tank and is a fast and simple machine to use. A deep or medium frame is placed in a carriage and is manually pushed through the heated knife by the user. Cappings are sliced off one side at a time and drop into your tank (at least 100 cm or 39 inches long). Perfectly fits atop our 1,000mm Uncapping Tank and also fits the 1,500mm Uncapping Tank, but leaves a 500mm opening to hang any uncapped frames.   A deep or medium frame is placed in a carriage and is manually pushed through the heated knife by the user. Cappings are sliced off one side at a time and drop into your tank (at least 100 cm or 39 inches long).  The blade is steam-heated by a small 1500W, 120V wallpaper steamer. After filling the steamer with water, it takes about 20 minutes to boil. The steam passes through the knife and keeps the wax and honey from accumulating on the knife.
