Vintage Hermes Silk Scarf.  Designed by Kermit Oliver - the first, and until very recently only, American artist invited to design for Hermes. A black American who grew up in Texas, Kermit's art has always been influenced by Native American patterns.  Condition: Like New, Sold-As-Is Size: 36" x 36" (90cm); as each scarf is hand rolled, there is slight variation in size Made in France A stunning silk scarf featuring 122 native Texas species from the longhorn to the armadillo. A banner along the bottom panel of the scarf revealed the design’s name: “Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute.”
