In fact, they don't offer any type of termite control. They only help to detect subterranean termite activity outdoors near structures in the target area. Each wood base is exposed to the soil and has horizontal grooves, giving the termites easy access inside. The bases are also made with wood that subterranean termites prefer. Where to Use Advance Wood Bases Use Advance Termite Monitoring Bases outdoors near homes, businesses, industrial sites and other places where subterranean termites may threaten structures.
