"The Palaces of Nimrod" (Nimrud in Iraq) Nimrod is described in the Bible as a great king and great grandson of Noah. He established cities after the great flood and is considered by some as the builder of the Tower of Babylon. This print was printed in color and published in 1861 by Meermann and Sieber in Munich.
