Lepidolite Purple Mica with Pink Tourmaline Polished Palm Stone Gallet
*This is a small to medium sized specimen—please examine scale photos and consider dimensions! This is a sweet and unique polished specimen! This polished palm stone is lepidolite, the purple mica. It looks appealing laying flat in a display or altar, or held in the hand. The purple mica, lepidolite, has a soft yet bright quality, and it is punctuated by bubblegum pink tourmaline inclusions. The quality of sparkling mini platelets and color contrast is quite attractive; the color is a bright light lilac to lavender purple shade, and the piece may also have grayish quartz zones as well. The palm stone has smooth texture, raw edges here and there, and an appealing puffy shape. Perfect for the healing or specimen collector in your life. This mica may form anywhere but is most often associated with pegmatite deposits with other lithium bearing minerals, such as elbaite tourmaline and kunzite. Notable deposits include California, USA, Madagascar, Brazil, and more. HEALING: Lepidolite is connected to the heart chakra—it is thought to help balance emotional stress and heal the emotions. *Though many gems and minerals have historical and cultural associations with healing properties, these items are sold for display, study, and collector interest only.
