Medium Wood-Burned Basket

Hand-burned design on maple base with colorful weaving. Great for small trinkets or holding jar candles (open candles not recommended).  Food-safe. Measures approximately 5.5" wide and 4" tall.  Carrie LaDuke Carrie LaDuke is a self-taught pyrography (woodburning) artist from Sparta, NJ. Starting with wood boxes about 20 years ago, she has expanded her mediums in recent years to include live-edge wood plaques, paper and leather. Each piece is created by hand and she draws most of her inspiration from local wildlife with a focus on realism.
