WHEN THIS HAPPENS...PART ONE

I go and I go and I go...sometimes the conditions don't go as forecasted/predicted and I have to resource gratitude for the opportunity to even try to get photos like this. I used to get pretty bummed out when the goal I had isn't achieved, but as time moves on, I've found a sense of peace, no matter how small it is, within myself. Here is one of two images from a spectacular Fall morning, a morning, where everything came together; fresh snow, a windless lake, a gleaming volcano, and not a soul in site.
