Araldite® 8579 Resin / Hardener 8579 epoxy adhesive is a solvent-free, thixotropic, cold-setting paste that spreads easily and has good gap-filling characteristics. The cured system is chemical resistant and has good mechanical strength up to 248°F (120°C). At the very least, joint surfaces should be cleaned with a good degreasing agent such as acetone, iso-propanol (for plastics) or other proprietary degreasing agents in order to remove all traces of oil, grease and dirt.
