To achieve satisfactory performance,The Oracle XE 18c installer has been rewritten; you can expect a longer installation time; it also comes with some new requirements. To secure that the installation will be correct executed most important is to ensure that the logged in user performing the installation are:⦁ Included in the Administrators group⦁ Connected to the network PROSIS installer takes care of uninstalling any older Oracle XE database. It is advised NOT to uninstall Oracle XE manually if you already have an older working PROSIS installation. Just start the installation according to the instructions. Note!If you have any user data, for example, notes or part orders that you want to keep, you need first to export them and then import them after installing the new version. Important!Regarding administrator privileges on the target computer. Log on to Windows with Administrator privileges.
