It resonated with me— the feeling I got when I heard it, almost palpable. It also became clear that I needed to advocate for my own well-being, I needed to be brave enough to protect the peace I so deeply longed for. We all have it in us. We must put on our own oxygen masks first because we cannot pour from an empty cup.
