DESCRIPTION Homage Brewing Collaboration: Bourbon Barrel Aged French Macaron-inspired Imperial Stout with Violets and Red Currants Currant War is a boutique collaboration with Homage Brewing inspired by the delicate flavors of French macarons. Floral aromas of Tahitian vanilla whet the senses for the tart brightness of black currant, quickly tempered by the savory roundness of vanilla beans on the mid-palate. Currant War was brewed with violet flowers steeped in the boil for a lingering finish of soft earth and early-summer sweetness. Medium bodied and elegant with a present-but-pleasant heat from its 14.55% ABV.
