Round Knob Backplates Sheraton Backplates for Knobs accent and protect drawer fronts from wear. They are a Federal era style found on period furniture. Originally designed for Sheraton knobs, however their classic circular shape is suitable for other round knobs. Back-plates are according to historic standards, they are stamped brass with crisp detail and a rolled edge.  Sheraton Backplates for Knobs Diameter: 1-1/2" Center mounting hole diameter: 5/32" matching 1-1/2" Knobs More Backplate sizes 1" diameter 2" diameter Measure & Install Backplates Measure backplates according to outside diameter Center hole slips 8/32 screw Use same diameter Sheraton backplate and knob Mounts with single hole To install: Position backplate on drawer front. Insert machine screw, from drawer interior, through wood, through backplate and screw into back of knob.
