"My eye was inextricably drawn to this vintage Coca-Cola sign in Nelson, Nevada, a weathered relic affixed to a rough wooden wall. The red surface, scratched and faded, revealed the passage of years, its iconic script and bottle softened by the desert’s harsh realities. Rust and peeling paint traced a history of forgotten roadside moments, where travelers once sought relief. I sought to preserve the sign’s quiet resilience, a testament to a bygone era, set against the rugged charm of a ghost town, where every crack and crevice holds a whisper of the past." — Jon Wendell
