The hand painted clay base has been textured to resemble antiqued hammered metal to give an aged feel to the clip. Three debossed lucky shamrocks decorate the front of the barrette which are hand painted metallic green to add some shine when they catch the light. On the reverse of the hair barrette you will find a 3" metal barrette hair clip. Squeeze the prongs to open the clip and snap to close. A nice strong fastening clip.
