Custom Standard Playmat (24" X 14")
Bleed, resolution, sizes When doing a 24” x 14” playmat design - you should allow for 5% bleed. That means that the design should be made for 25.2” x 14.7”. In terms of resolution - it needs to be at least 100 DPI. This means that this design, for example: Will get cropped like so (the area marked in grey is “dead space” - it will NOT appear on the playmat): 100 DPI The GREY area would be: 25.2 * 100 = 2520px width 14.7 * 100 = 1470px height The RED and BLUE areas would be: 24 * 100 = 2400px width 14 * 100 = 1400px height The ORANGE area would be: 2.6 * 100 = 260px width 3.62 * 100 = 362px height The PURPLE area would be: 2.44 * 100 = 244px width 3.5 * 100 = 350px height 200 DPI The GREY area would be: 25.2 * 200 = 5040px width 14.7 * 200 = 2940px height The RED and BLUE areas would be: 24 * 200 = 4800px width 14 * 200 = 2800px height The ORANGE area would be: 2.6 * 200 = 520 width 3.62 * 200 = 724px height The PURPLE area would be: 2.44 * 200 = 488px width 3.5 * 200 = 700px height 300 DPI The GREY area would be: 25.2 * 300 = 7560px width 14.7 * 300 = 4410px height The RED and BLUE areas would be: 24 * 300 = 7200px width 14 * 300 = 4200px height The ORANGE area would be: 2.6 * 300 = 780 width 3.62 * 300 = 1086px height The PURPLE area would be: 2.44 * 300 = 732px width 3.5 * 300 = 1050px height You should submit a file that covers the whole GREY area - not just the RED and BLUE ones.
