Kamameshi Chopstick Rest · Masters Craft

At the Masters Crafts kiln, craftsmen carefully create each chopstick rest. This is a chopstick rest created by Ihoshiro Kiln. This chopstick rest is cute and round, like a kamameshi, the Japanese rice dish traditionally cooked in an iron pot called a kama. It can be used as a chopstick rest and spoon rest.  Please be careful not to put it in your mouth. The color of each piece is slightly different, but this is a natural phenomenon caused by the soil and the degree of baking, so we hope you will see it as a unique taste of pottery.
