ALS Fundraiser Bracelet: Third Edition
The first bracelet represented hope. My dad helped pick out the blue colors, because that was his favorite color. The second bracelet represented perseverance despite loss, and was fueled by the ALS community I had met along this journey. This third bracelet is a combination of the two! It’s easy to lose hope once ALS wins in your story. I struggled to continue raising awareness for a long time after I lost my dad. But thanks to this community, I was able to find my passion again, because once you’ve experienced ALS, you don’t want anyone else to have to go through it.This bracelet ties us together. I hope when you look down at it, you don’t feel so alone in your journey, whether you have ALS, are a caregiver to a loved one, or are missing someone you lost to it.Colors:The brown ties and red knot have been kept the same as the previous bracelets. The red knot is a symbol of love holding us together.Yellow: Happiness, hope, optimismGreen: The color of life, growth, and healthBlue: My dad’s
