Spike Collection Necklace

I made the original design in wax and had it cast in sterling silver then oxidized the silver in a liver of sulphur solution and applied a texture to the surface with a light hammer. It contrasts with the sturdy bright sterling chain. This is the smaller of 2 Spike designs I make. It measures 2". The Spike Collection pieces are boldly feminine with a bent toward modern chic.
