'Strength Beyond My Own' Print (male version)

This is a detailed print of my original painting 'Strength Beyond My Own'. This painting was inspired by the word ‘grace’. I did a similar painting last year, and felt drawn to repaint this subject because it feels so powerful to me. Imagining Christ helping me carrying ‘my world’ reminds me that His strength makes up for what I lack. In this painting the woman carrying her world cannot see Christ behind her, and that was an important detail for me to include. Sometimes I feel all alone, struggling under the weight of this heavy burden, feeling like I am begging for help and no one is helping me. Many times it’s only once I am through my trials that I look back and see all the ways the Savior was helping me all along.  As you go throughout this new year, I hope you remember the word grace. Grace for yourself - you are carrying many heavy things and are doing the best you can. Grace for others, for we never know the heavy burdens that others are carrying around with them. And His Grace
