'He Sits With Me' Canvas Print

A canvas print of my original painting 'He Sits With Me'. My favorite name for the Savior is Emmanuel. It means ‘God With Us’. As I was thinking about that name and what it means to me, I just felt so grateful for a Savior who is willing to be with me. Willing to sit with me. With us in the pain, in the joy, in the sorrow, in the hope, in the waiting, in the endings, in the change, in the beginnings. In the turmoil I experience, He is the constant that remains with me.  I’ve sat in this position hundreds of times throughout my life. Curled up, rocking myself back and forth, seeking comfort. Even though I can’t see Him in those moments, I can feel Him sitting with me. I am so grateful for a Savior who comforts, heals, and saves.
