50/50 Solder for Stained Glass is a 99.99% high purity alloy that is composed of 50% tin and 50% lead (no recycled metals). It is a .125" diameter, solid core wire alloyed in a proprietary method that results in a high wetting solder. 50/50 solder is very popular for stained glass work - and while not as widely used as 60/40, it is preferred due to it's lower cost.
