
Sailing Solo
The Story What started out as a cold, gray and overcast summer morning at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco suddenly changed into a bright sunny day while my husband and I crossed the San Francisco Bay on our way to Sausalito. A single sail boat floated across the calm deep blue waters at full sail just in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. Upon returning to my studio, I imagined the peaceful, relaxing moment with acrylic paint on a 16x20 canvas. My original was then digitally recaptured and printed on metal in the same 16x20 size.
