Nice Book. Printed in 1942Great work of Jewish art created by Saul Raskin. In this project Raskin illustrated the Book of Psalms in the usual large format he used for his similar projects such as his 5 Megillot, Passover Haggadah and more. In this Book of Psalms, the entire text is written in Hebrew and translated into Yiddish and English. It was published in 1942, at the height of WW2 which is why you see at least one full page illustration of Hitler. There's a full page illustration in practically every other page. There are 160 GIANT pages, measuring 13.5 x 10 1/4 inches Some pages are in color as well, but most pages are black and white.
