First Illustrated Haggadah Printed In Palestine/Israel By Nahum Liphshitz 1930
Description: 1930 printed in Palestine, first edition as this has mostly paginated folios and in Hebrew as the first edition had. This is a problematic copy withflaws, however the design and decorated pages of this Haggadah are nicely represented and they are obviously beautiful, none of the text or page numbers are mssing (except for the page numbers that are absent due to the way it was printed, meaning there are no pages missing just that a few pages were printed without page numbers) The pages are disconnected from the spine, with bottom parts of the pages missing, but not affecting any elements on any page, a few pages are ripped, staining throughout. There is an interesting pre-state inscription of 1940 of one person presenting the Haggadah to another, definitely makes this more of a piece of history. Original boards with original plate nicely intact. Very rare. Smart-phone users, click top right menu of phone, select 'request desktop site'. After the item reloads in desktop v
