In the "Gods of Anger" series, Osiris is portrayed as the ancient Egyptian god of fertility, agriculture, the afterlife, the deceased, resurrection, life, and vegetation.  Traditionally, he is represented with green skin, a pharaoh’s beard, and his legs partially wrapped like a mummy. He wears the distinctive atef crown and holds the symbolic crook and flail. Osiris is notably one of the earliest figures linked to mummy wrappings. After his brother Set murdered him and dismembered his body, Osiris' wife, Isis, recovered all the fragments and rewrapped his body, allowing him to come back to life. The worship of Osiris was prevalent until the ancient Egyptian religion gradually faded with the spread of Christianity in the Roman Empire.
