If you're interested in mounting a side ladder to the Thor you will need to mount an additional section of roof rail. Thor mounted its rails on the sheet metal roof and not in the factory roof rail channel. This means that any side ladder Owl or competitor will require the mounting of a small channel of rail in the OEM location. Roof rail is not sold in small sections so Owl purchased rail systems and divided them up into kits for Thor owners. This makes it simple and you don't have to purchase anything you don't need.
