Electric guitar strings are coiled and finished with silver ball end beads and stainless steel ear wires. Size: approximately 2" long  What is a Ball End? The ball end is a small metal bead that is attached to one end of the string. The ball end anchors the string to the instrument. Having been a musician for many years, I couldn’t believe what a rich trove of possibility had literally been right at my fingertips.
