Electric guitar string hoop (approximately 1.5" in diameter) with brass ball ends is finished with silver jewelry wire hung on an 18" stainless steel snake chain. Finished with lobster clasp and 2” extension chain. What is a Ball End? The ball end is a small metal bead that is attached to one end of the string. The ball end anchors the string to the instrument. Having been a musician for many years, I couldn’t believe what a rich trove of possibility had literally been right at my fingertips. The realization that guitar strings could be repurposed for jewelry ignited a spark. In a perfect melding of my love of music and passion for creating, High Strung Studios was born. Since that magical moment in 2010, every day I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to engage in something I
