Into the Wild II Reproduction by Jake Putnam

Although he still enjoys painting in great detail, he has begun moving away into more carefree and whimsical illustration.  His work is inspired by the children’s books Where the Wild Things Are, Peter Pan’s Lost Boys, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Their creation is an impulsive process of moving around recycled scrap paper and finding what speaks to him organically. Next comes the dancing pose and paper pattern.
