He Thought About Retirement Every Day Greeting Card by Keith Huie

He thought about retirement every day. This 5 x 7” blank card features an image from an original ink drawing by Keith Huie of Mineral Point, Wisconsin. The card includes a grey envelope. Keith Huie was born and raised near San Diego, California. He was never formally trained but learned through watching his father, who was a very talented artist, photographer and writer. He was also severely depressed and according to Huie, it extinguished much of his creative energy.  All of my art is filtered through a childhood of harsh darkness and absolute perfection in equal amounts. Everything I do carries bits of both realities. It is only recently that I have begun to appreciate it.
