The ball end is a small metal bead that is attached to one end of the string. The ball end anchors the string to the instrument. Made by Jenny Woods of High Strung Studios in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.   My creative world was turned upside down the day I discovered that my old guitar strings were a perfect medium for jewelry design. Having been a musician for many years, I couldn’t believe what a rich trove of possibility had literally been right at my fingertips. The realization that guitar strings could be repurposed for jewelry ignited a spark. In a perfect melding of my love of music and passion for creating, High Strung Studios was born.
