A Day at the Art Museum 5-Metropolitan Museum of Art-original art

Here's the start of a new series I'm calling A Day at the Art Museum. This piece describes a show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, with Diego Velazquez featured.  The series uses ticket stubs or simulated tickets as an anchor motif and then a plethora of collaged botanical flowers and a handprinted song bird all put together over a grid of small squares of handprinted papers, and a base sheet of archival white paper.
