Foredom K.2252 Chisel Carving Kit-115V

Foredom's new Series LX Chisel Carving Kit comes with the M.LX permanent magnet high torque/low speed Series LX flex shaft motor, the C.EMX table top dial speed control in plastic housing, the H.50 Chisel handpiece and 17 Chisels in 3 Sets (AKH550, AKHK560 & AKHK570). Also included are flex shaft grease and an accessory tray.  Foredom LX Motor: The Foredom Series LX motors are best for jobs that require extra torque at low speed up to 5,000 rpm, like chisel carving and stone setting. The M.LX motors are permanent magnet and work with the same speed controls as the series TX. They do not work with Series SR speed controls. The Foredom Series LX uses a different style plug meant to be used with the TXR, SXR and EMX speed controls. These controls look the same as the Foredom speed controls for the Series SR, however they have special electronics that convert AC current from an electrical outlet to DC current, the type of current required by the LX motor.
