The fabric is made of Banshu-ori, a traditional cotton fabric from the Kita-Harima region of Hyogo Prefecture. It is a pleasant to the touch cotton-polyester fabric with a finely textured surface, and each item is carefully washed at a workshop in Miyakonojo, where indigo dyeing is done, to give it a soft and pleasant texture.
