The Home series, themed on things that accompany you when you relax in your home, was renewed in September 2023, and you can now choose from a total of 15 different types. This is an illustration of a paint brush. It represents the moment when a brush with plenty of paint on it is pressed against a wall for the first coat. The cards and envelopes are made of a combination of paper that is comfortable to the touch, hoping to offer comfort to both the writer and the reader of the letter. The card is made of a paper that is thick and firm, but has a smooth surface that is very pleasant to the touch. The corners are rounded to add gentleness. The envelopes have a strangely moist feel to the touch. The crisp white ground, like a freshly washed sheet, is embossed with a pattern that looks like a wavy cloud, and the specifications are such that you can enter a peaceful world even before you open the envelope. I wanted to express relaxation from all angles, so I took a different approach in creating the design from the other series. I made a rough sketch of about 3 cm on a notebook that I usually use, and then enlarged it to make a clean sketch. When the designer (Taishi) doodles in the corner of the notebook, he can relax his mind and heart, so he used this method to create all the designs in order to capture that feeling. At first glance, it looks like a simple black-and-white line drawing, but when you touch it, it is actually puffy and the black parts are raised. We wanted the letter to have a little surprise, so we made the printing process a little more special. After hand-printing each letter with silk-screen printing, we applied a special powder and heat to the inked area to create an embossed effect, which makes the inked area puff up.
