Close the lid by dipping it into the bamboo Bamboo Bound Envelopes S/L This is one of KAKURA's representative products that has remained a standard for over 20 years. Each piece of bamboo is carefully selected, split, and shaved by hand. [We went to a number of long-established bamboo shops to learn from them in order to create "Japanese stationery". The sesame bamboos are split one by one with a machete, shaved to a certain thickness, and polished with wipe lacquer. The envelopes are cut straight without rounded glue allowance to resemble a folded furoshiki (wrapping cloth), and finished by hand-application.
