STEP File

STEP files based on specs from SK8CAD. Typical delivery: 3-5 business days. Choose "Molds, Only" for two STEP files: the male mold and female mold. Choose "Molds & Board" for three STEP files: the male mold, female mold, and skateboard deck. (Board STEP file will have rounded edges, as shown in sample image.) Why use a STEP file? STEP files are scalable, computationally-driven 3D models, whereas STL files are resolution-based mesh files. A STEP file will have a higher (smoother) resolution than an STL file and is more readily editable in another solid modeling program than a mesh. Some CAM programs require STEP files for machining.
