***SOLD OUT*** 1 Session: Saturday, August 26th from 2-4 pm PT In-Person at Open Books Address: 108 Cherry St., Seattle, WA 98104 Class Description: This class will encourage multidisciplinary approaches to writing poetry and consider the environments that foster our creative practices. Poems and prompts will be shared to inspire us to write through our emotions and thoughts about place. The class will be open to all experiences of the land and life, including, but not limited to, the joy of being united with the earth and the grief we may feel over rapidly changing ecologies. All writing levels and backgrounds are welcome! In-person. About the Instructor: Laura Paul is a poet, essayist, and multidisciplinary artist. Her work has been published in The Brooklyn Rail, Los Angeles Review of Books, Tarpaulin Sky Magazine, Pangyrus, The Comics Journal, Dream Pop Journal, Heavy Feather Review, Minor Literature[s], and other outlets. She earned her Bachelor's from the University of Washington
