First edition of this fairy tale classic, featuring six transformational slat moveables. The Magic Fairy Tales series offers a new twist on the moveable book. Each illustrated page is covered by an inserted slat panel that can be moved via pull-tab to reveal two different (decidedly 1940s-style) illustrations depending on its position. This version of Goldilocks presents the bears as fully fledged characters and Goldilocks as a trespasser, arguably the most accurate version of the story.  Faint dampstain to edge of title page, only slightest rubbing to board extremities. A beautiful copy in near-fine condition.
