Malena Pizani: An Artist

An Artist is a long poem by Argentinian artist Malena Pizani, in the form of a list of over 1400 short descriptions of an artist: "An artist who looks out of the corner of his eye / An artist who looks out of the corner of his eye and also eavesdrops / An artist who looks out of the corner of his eye and makes comments in passing so that everyone else will hear / A mean-spirited artist / A dark-energied artist / A dark-energied who has power / A dark-energied artist who has power and distributes it among other dark-energied artists.”  Published by the Mexico City-based Gato Negro.   Softcover, perfect bound, 112 pages, risograph, 4.25 inches x 6.5 inches, Gato Negro Ediciones, 2017.
