The cover and base snap together firmly to form a perfect seal. The black foam rings are made from an inert polyethylene that provides an additional barrier against air contamination, secures the bar in the holder, and provides an attractive border. Bar holders are PVC free, archival safe, and suitable for extended periods of long term bar storage. The holders are securely packaged un-assembled within layers of foam to protect them during shipment. Made in the USA.
