RARE!!! Desert Combat Uniform DCU Pattern Ranger RACK

(Ranger Assault Carrying Kit) is a highly sought after collectable as well as still completely useable today. It is likely the first relatively commonly issued chest rig used by U.S. forces. Issuance began in the 1990's with much of the design starting in the Ranger Regiment. Ranger Body Armor (RBA) did not have MOLLE webbing or ways to easily attach pouches and this chest rig enhanced modularity in a way that previous gear (ALICE) could not do.  Eventually even the Marines issued this vest as part of the early FSBE (Full Spectrum Battle Equipment) system as well.  This is a really neat bit of history as its pretty rare in general and even more so in DCU pattern.
